A layout challenge is where someone gives you a list of items on which
to base your page layout, for instance: Make a page with a blue
and pink theme, include some ribbon and some sparkle.
21st

If you're stuck for how to layout a page, then sketches can be very
helpful. See here for a blog
about sketches, and for some examples. There are 3 sketches available to choose from with one
photograph space. If you want to join in but can't make the crop...
see link above for the sketches. and then email me a photo of your
layout and I will publish it on this site.

Artists' Trading Cards. Fun little creations only a couple of
inches square, for swapping and collecting. Ideal for using on
cards even, and another good way to get your creative "juices"
flowing. Themes were "crazy daisy", retro, blue, vintage.
19th May - Page Accents (update

How to turn a handful of pretty scrapbook supplies into page accents
which are actually ideal for card making too.
You will need some coloured card, something with words on, ie, papers,
typing, rub ons, and/or stickers, plus all those little embellishments
you have bought but don't quite know what to do with!

April - Exploding Boxes!
Workshop on how to make these charming, quirky, keepsakes
These are the supplies you'll need: 3 sheets of 12 x 12 cardstock, 1
sheet of cardstock (min size A4)
double sided tape or similar. You will also need a tool to score
with too. plus the usual papers, embellishments, etc.
31st
March - Scraplift Challenge (helps with "scrapper's block"!
(Moved back 2 weeks)
Copying another layout with your own materials (similar to the scrapbook
magazines challenge).
You will need your usual supplies of papers and card, but as the layout
will be 'based only' on a sample page, there are no specific papers you
need to provide. Will show some paper crafting techniques.
24th February - Paper bag
books
You will need: 3 paper bags 6 x 12" (can be provided if
notified 2 weeks prior) 10p each. 3 book rings. 1 piece 12 x 12
cardstock ( to cut up for inserting into pockets) photos,
embellishments, ribbons, papers
