For beginners - For your first session, some materials can be provided for you (for about £2) with a simple layout project to do (you will need to ask for that in advance), but perhaps you have recently bought, or been given a kit, but haven't touched it yet... perhaps you don't know what to do with it... then come along and get some inspiration to start you off.

January 23rd - General Scrapping (due to my house move!!)
Bring your usual stash, let's make some simple pages maybe, or perhaps some page accents to use up scraps.

February 20th - Colour Blocking
We have used templates to create pages (and cards) quickly at a previous crop, this time it's about using a balance of blocks of paper and the use of "white space" in between to quickly create great pages and cards - bring your usual stash, especially co-ordinating scraps!

December 12th - Christmas Crop
Tea, cakes, nibbles and some general crafting, we made some last minute "vintage" cards with images provided for free. Check out the blog to see my cards

14th November 2009 – Make your own Envelopes, Glitter Icicles & using Sketches for both Cards and Layouts
Mmembers received a FREE handcut envelope template, PLUS an exclusive "circles template" for those who don't have circle punches (otherwise only available as part of my online Scrapbooking Video Course). Also spoke about adapting scrapbook sketches to card ones... check out this blog post too!

10 October 2009 - One piece of cardstock mini album
We used a single 12x12 piece of double sided patterned paper/card to create a mini pocket album. They make great little gifts, or you can use on a scrapbook page to hold lots more photos and journaling.  Easy to make.  If you don’t have any double sided paper you can always stamp a pattern onto the back of an ordinary piece.

12th September 2009 - Stitching on your pages and cards using templates
Free Templates were provided for this crop. Demo showed how to add interest to layouts and cards by using simple stitched patterns.

18th July 2009 - Accordion Spine Mini Scrapbook Album (4x4")
We all made an mini-album together! Very simple to make, quick and easy!

13th June 2009 - Having fun with Shrink Plastic (Shrinkles)!
We had fun making some embellishments for scrapbooking pages and cards, using a heat tool to shrink them down to size!

9th May 2009 - Patchwork papers! See my article about Scrapbooking Patchwork style here
The demo showed how to make use of paper scraps for Scrapbooking pages and cards, and possibly other uses too. Making up some patchwork backgrounds is a rather relaxing way to spend some time, and once you have some sheets made up you can use them for a quick card or layout or mini album, or even to cover a book!

11th April 2009 - Hybrid Crafting with Free kit!
With the launch of my new site www.ICanCraftNow.com the demo was about how to use a Hybrid Paper Crafting kit.

14th March 2009 - 2-5-7-10 Box!
We created party favours boxes with just one sheet of cardstock, some score lines and some adhesive.

10th January - Layering
Bring your usual stash including patterned paper and embellishments. Demo will show how layering your papers and embellishments can instantly improve the look of your Layouts

13th December - More Multi-Photo scrapbook pages
There were six sketches on the demo handout for this month's crop, showing various ways to "pack" more photos into your pages including using mini booklets and hinged photos.

15th November - Making a Mini-book
We made two types of mini-books at this crop. Great fun with instant satisfaction! (Both books can be used as a Gift-card or as a small scrapbook). Free template and guide provided.

18th October - Creating your own Kit for a crop or project

20th September - "Random Mini-Album"
How to make a mini album ignoring the constraints of conformity to size or layout of pages.  In other words, an album about Random things, with random sized pages, and random colour scheme... great for letting it "all hang out"!

16th August - Colouring your Stamped Images
Making more use of your stamps... how to colour your stamps with water colour pencils/watercolours

19th July - Digital Scrapbooking
An introduction into the colourful world of Digital Scrapbooking. Demonstration used a laptop computer at the crop.   

14th June – Using Microsoft Word to create page layouts & printing photos economically
Create Journaling and titles on your computer the easy way. Tips and tricks to squeezing on loads of photographs onto one A4 piece of photographic paper!  Demonstration used a laptop computer and a printer at the crop.

17th May 2008 – Clean and Simple
Creating page layouts based on the book “Clean & Simple Scrapbooking”  by Cathy Zielske - these are very simple, graphic designs.

19th April 2008 - Ways with Ribbon
How to use ribbon on your Layouts in all sorts of ways.

15th March 2008 - Using Paint on layouts and masking using Inks and/or paint
How to alter your background papers, and layouts using this technique.

More of ...How to turn a handful of pretty scrapbook supplies into page accents which are actually ideal for card making too.

Personal Tuition & Small Group Sessions
Available evenings 7.15-9.30pm or Saturdays 1-4pm
To come to your own home (local only -10 Mile radius of Beccles, Suffolk) and help you create pages from your own materials, bringing page examples and books and magazines for inspiration.
One to One or a small group of up to 6 people. £2hr session £40.

Do make sure you are set up and ready to start as soon as I arrive, to make full use of your session.

What to bring with you...
You will need a pair of scissors, pencil, double sided tape/glue stick, ruler, some papers, card and any page decorations you may have, ie, stickers, buttons, ribbons, etc.
